Day 01 – Chengdu
Upon arrival, have a short city tour of Chengdu. Visit the Jinli ancient street, it was a place which used to be really famous for its silk, since Qin Dynasty. Now you can walk around the beautiful ancient buildings, buy some handmade types of silk and delicious traditional snacks. Continue to the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, the former residence of Du Fu, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty. Classical architectural styles will bring you a strong cultural atmosphere. In the evening, wander into the Kuanzhaixiangzhi (Wide & Narrow Alleys), an old neighborhood that got a thorough facelift – it is now a trendy pedestrian alley that fuses beautifully restored traditional architecture with modern and well-appointed restaurants, teahouses, cafes, restaurants and shops.

Day 02 – Chengdu
Spend your morning with some loveable creatures at the Panda Breeding and Research Centre at Chengdu. This has been created to simulate the pandas’ natural habitat in order for the pandas to have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding.
Continue drive 1 hour to Sanxingdui Museum, showcases kinds of precious cultural relics unearthed at Sanxingdui site, which held a splendid civilization from2800 B.C. to 800 B.C., so-called the Ninth Wonder of the World.
After dinner, you will enjoy a unique and disappearing Sichuan performing art – Bian Lian (face changing) – first row seat.

Day 03 – Chengdu / Leshan / Emei Mountain
This morning, make an excursion (about 1½ hours drive) to see the Le Shan Big Buddha, the largest stone carved sitting Buddhist statue in the world, its toe alone can sit more than 20 persons! We will have the opportunity to climb the entire height of the Buddha as well as enjoying a boat ride to view the Buddha from the river.
Drive to Emei Mountain (about 40 minutes) in the afternoon and check into Hongzhushan Hotel (best available) for one night at the foot of the Mountain. Late afternoon, you have time at leisure on your own, roam the street, try some Emei Snacks, or enjoy hot spring.

Day 04 – Emei Mountain / Chengdu
Mountain Emei is one of the four mountain ranges in China that Buddhists consider sacred. It was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1996.
We take a cable car to Golden Summit (3,099m) to enjoy the natural scenery of sunrise, seas of clouds, the Buddha’s halo and the sunset glow.
Descend by cable car before driving 3 hours back to Chengdu.
This evening, be treated to the famous Chinese Medicine Cuisine at the Qinshanzai Restaurant.

Day 05 – Chengdu / Qingcheng Mountain / Chengdu
Enjoy a day away from the city and experience the grandeur of the Sichuan region’s scenic wonders on this full-day tour to Qingcheng Mountain and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Admire how temples and halls are seemingly carved into the thick forest of bamboo trees and caves at Qingcheng Mountain, where you’ll take a boat ride and a hike with your guide. Marvel at the construction of the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which was built in 256 BC and led to significant irrigation and agricultural development of the region.

Day 06 – Chengdu
Transfer to airport for flight home.
