  • Day 01 – Buenos Aires

    On arrival, you will be met by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

    On completing check in we will proceed for half day city tour of Buenos Aires. Get acquainted with Buenos Aires during this tour highlighting the city’s major neighbourhoods and attractions. Among the points of interest you will see are Main Square Plaza de Mayo surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Presidential Headquarters Office), the Cabildo (Colonial Town Hall) and the Cathedral. You will also drive through the charming streets of San Telmo and down the colorful roads of La Boca, famous for its multicolor tin houses. Later, drive through elegant Barrio Norte on your way to the Recoleta Cemetery, an amazing aboveground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues. Finally, visit Palermo and its magnificent mansions and parks.

    Zanjon de Granados, under a historical XIX century building you will discover Tunnels, archaeological ruins, and remains of the old foundations. El Zanjon is pointed by some historians to be the place of the first settlement of Buenos Aires in 1536.

    Dinner and Tango Show (included)

    In the evening, we will head for a dinner and tango show at La Ventana. We will enjoy an unforgettable night, surrender to the magic of this city that never sleeps and to the charm of this overwhelming and sanguine music —main protagonist of the night— while enjoying the best of its varied gastronomic offer.

    Day 02 – La Pampa

    Home to the famous gaucho, the humid pampa is one of the most fertile natural prairies in the world and is famous for its production of beef and cereals. Only a few kilometers away from the City of Buenos Aires, in a natural environment with beautiful landscapes, we will be honored with their typical national asado, empanadas, and excellent Argentinean wines. The wild smell of the countryside will invite us to break away from routine and discover a charming hundred-year-old rural tradition in the midst of the XXI century. Folk songs and dances, equestrian activities, and unbeatable shows of traditional gaucho skills, such as ring races, cuadreras (horse races), entrevero de tropillas (horse games): let’s live the traditional lifestyle of Argentinean ranches through the gaucho, the greatest symbol of these lands.

    Day 03 – Buenos Aires to El Calafate

    Today, we transfer to the airport for our flight to El Calafate Airport. On arrival to El Calafate, you will be transferred to your hotel. Day at leisure.

    Day 04 – El Calafate

    Today, we will spend the whole day at the Perito Moreno Glacier, which rises majestically 80 km away from El Calafate. This is one of the largest and the only advancing glacier in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle.

    We will start by penetrating the Patagonic Andean forest and make a first breathtaking stop at “Curva de los Suspiros” (Curve of Sighs), where we will enjoy a first view of this incredible natural wonder. When we approach the glacier, we will walk down the wooden catwalks to approach the Glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. We will be able to contemplate very closely when varied-sized ice blocks loosen and fall into the water with a great thunder becoming beautiful ice floes in the deep waters of the Lago Argentino. This day will be an unforgettable experience, a once in a lifetime delight.

    Optional Activity – Safari Nautico Navigation Ticket.

    This activity is an ideal complement to the Perito Moreno glacier tour. It will allow us to appreciate very closely this wonder of nature. We will sail out of Bajo de las Sombras Bay port, 7 km away from the glacier’s catwalks, down to the southern side of the glacier. On our way, we shall contemplate ice blocks falling off until reaching the southern point of Los Témpanos canal, until reaching the standing point 300 m away from the southern wall of the glacier, where we shall stop to admire its greatness

    Day 05 – El Calafate

    Rios de Hielo navigation (included)

    Frequency: Every other day, from November to February- Duration: 7 hs.

    Recommendations: Comfortable shoes and clothes.

    Once on board we will sail through the North Arm of Lake Argentino until we reach the Upsala Channel, where we will find a spectacular Iceberg Barrier, and if the location of the icebergs allows us, we will be able to get near the glacier´s wall.

    Afterwards we will navigate the Spegazzini Channel, where we will observe the Seco Glacier to reach the front of the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park. Return to Punta Bandera Port. Transfer from Punta Bandera Port to Hotel.

    Day 06 – El Calafate to Iguazu

    Today, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Iguazu Airport. On arrival to Iguazu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Day at leisure.

    Meals included: Breakfast.

    Day 07 – Iguazu

    Today we spend the day at one of the natural wonders of the world – Iguazu Falls.

    Iguazú National Park —a total of 55,500 hectares— bears the name of the river serving as northern border, which means ‘great waters’ in the guaraní language. Surrounded by a lush subtropical rainforest, we will find the majestic Iguazú Waterfalls. Its water volume and more than 275 falls places it among the most important and spectacular waterfalls in the world. On different footbridges, we will visit the heart of the waterfalls, appreciating them from different angles. We will visit the lower circuit, and feel part of nature, refreshing ourselves with waterfall drizzle. On the upper circuit, we will stop at different viewpoints, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). No doubt, this is the most amazing of all falls: water falls down from 80 meters.

    Optional Activity – The Big Adventure Navigation Tour (Argentinean side)

    A tour that combines rainforest and waterfalls. We will drive trucks into the vast wild vegetation joined by experimented guides. We will get off at the pier and board a boat to sail the Iguazú Inferior river canyon, rafting the river rapids to appreciate falls from the San Martín island peaceful backwater. Then we will visit the Tres Mosqueteros (Three Musketeers) fall, and Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) will crown the tour. Sailing the coast of the island, we will get to the next exciting point: the San Martín fall, the greatest a boat can approach.

    IMPORTANT: We recommend taking a second pair of shoes, informal clothes in order to change because in the Great Adventure excursion everyone will get wet.
