Day 01 – Beijing
On arrival, be met and transferred by your guide to the stunning Aman at Summer Palace, housed in a series of pavilions, some of which date back over a century and were originally used by guests of the Palace awaiting an audience with the Empress Dowager Cixi. Check in and enjoy refreshments.
After that, explore Beijing’s Olympic venues. We’ll get a first-hand look at two of the world’s most fascinating architectural designs. Take a walk around the bubble like glass of the Water Cube and stand by the wiry enclosure of the Bird’s Nest, the Olympic’s most prominent venue.
Evening, experience Summer Palace without crowds as you enjoy exclusive access to the complex after public opening-hours. Visit the lovely gardens and lakes – Renshoudian Palace, Deheyuan Theatre Museum.

Day 02 – Beijing
From Tiananmen Square, enter the Forbidden City, where emperors ruled, concubines fluttered their fans, and eunuchs schemed for five hundred years. Enjoy special access to Chonghua Palace, the Palace of Double Brilliance, normally closed to the public. Marvel at the lavish sitting rooms, living quarters and private sanctuary of Emperor Qianlong.
You’ll have the option to visit Jingshan Park – for a stunning panoramic view of the entire Forbidden City.
Enjoy lunch at Susu restaurant in the Hutong area (Closed on Monday).Visit to the Drum Tower, an ancient focal point from which drumbeats were sounded like a steady pulse, dictating the cadence of city life. Set out to explore Beijing’s ancient and interwoven Hutong, narrow alleys and lanes first laid out during the Yuan dynasty (1268-1364AD). Discover Gulou with a visit of Soong Qing Ling Mansion. (You may choose to walk or explore by pedi-cab)
Savor a Peking Duck dinner at a renovated siheyuan.

Day 03 – Beijing
We start the morning with a visit to Maliandao Tea Market – a haven for tea lovers with 900 over stalls! Enjoy a tea ceremony to learn about everything from jasmine to erlang, green tea to the expensive pu’er.
Visit the most iconic Tibetan Temple in Beijing, the Lama temple-home to Tibetan and Mongolian monks for nearly 300 years. Next, visit the nearby Confucius Temple, where thousands of men once sat through grueling imperial examinations. Wander the streets surrounding these temples where vendors sell Tibetan prayer mats, incense and various traditional offerings.
Learn about Chinese Traditional Medicine with an expert and discover the transformative powers of Eastern Health practices for restoring and maintaining balance, health and happiness. Late afternoon, make a visit to Taimiao. Enjoy the evening in Aman Summer Palace, trying out some of the complimentary cultural experiences, like Paper cutting, Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Kite making and others. Enjoy a rejuvenating spa (at own expense) or a movie at the Aman Theatre.

Day 04 – Beijing/Great Wall
No visit to Beijing is complete without seeing the Great Wall! Morning, drive to the Badaling airport (Approx. 2h) and appreciate the grandeur of the Great Wall from a helicopter scenic flight (10min).
Drive to the less-visited section of the Wall, Mutianyu (Approx. 2h). Enjoy lunch at The Schoolhouse, an eco-friendly townhouse. Take walks to enjoy the spectacular views from the Wall and for the more daring visitors. Mutianyu offers an exhilarating toboggan ride to the bottom of the wall!
Enjoy the evening at leisure, immersing in the serenity of the countryside.

Day 05 – Beijing
Enjoy the morning in the tranquil surrounds before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
