  • Day 1 & 2 – Victoria Falls

Upon arrival into Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred by road to your choice of lodge for a two night stay. Standard Option: Ilala Lodge. Superior Option: Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Deluxe Option: Victoria Falls River Lodge.

*NB Private road transfer for Superior and Deluxe Options. Transfer may be shared for Standard Option.

The Victoria Falls are one of the natural Seven Wonders of the World – a spellbinding and mesmerizing spectacle. The sheer mass of water cascading down the 100m drop across nearly 2km makes  a thunderous roar and creates a magnificent spray of water that can be seen for miles – hence the local name ‘mosi oa tunya’ meaning ‘the smoke that thunders’.

Ilala Lodge is situated close to Victoria Falls as well as to the town centre. Wild animals are often seen grazing the hotel lawns as the National Park borders the front of the property. The Lodge offers 32 en-suite rooms each with access to the lawns or a balcony with good views of the Victoria Falls. There is an à la carte restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a comprehensive wine list and cocktails.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is set high on a plateau which forms a natural boundary to the unfenced Zambezi National Park and the lodge has uninterrupted views and magnificent sunsets. Accommodation is in 72 luxurious en suite rooms with private balconies and duplex-style suites with views overlooking the waterhole. Facilities onsite include a Health & Beauty Spa, 24-hour room service and a library and games room.

Victoria Falls River Lodge is the first private game lodge to be set in the Zambezi National Park. It is a luxury tented lodge situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, just minutes from the Victoria Falls. Each en suite tent offers a freestanding bath, sitting area, indoor and outdoor shower and a private viewing deck where one can sit and watch the exceptional wildlife. The main lodge has an open plan design where guests can sit back and relax, under the shade of the thatched roof, as elephants graze along the river line.

    Day 3 & 4 – Chobe / Linyanti

After breakfast, you will be transferred to your next destination in Chobe / Linyanti:

Standard Option: shared road transfer to Chobe Elephant Camp for 2 nights.

Superior Option: private road transfer to Chobe Game Lodge for 2 nights.

Deluxe Option: private road transfer to Kasane Airport and charter flight to Linyanti for Selinda Camp for 2 nights.

The Chobe River Front is a remarkable wildlife area due to the permanent water source of the Chobe River. The spectacle of all the animals coming to drink and frolic at the water’s edge is one to behold, particularly in the dry season (May – Oct) where water is scarce away from the river. It is an area famous for its abundance of elephants, a variety of predators and, in addition, you are likely to see herds of buffalo and possibly even roan and sable antelope.

Located high on the edge of a rocky ridge overlooking the famous Chobe River is Chobe Elephant Camp. This uniquely designed lodge has been built to take advantage of the incredible views overlooking the sweeping floodplains. The lodge has just ten rooms and offers a variety of activities that include viewing the region’s spectacular wildlife from open safari vehicles, by boat on the Chobe River or experiencing life in the local village.

Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge situated within the boundaries of Chobe National Park. It is built along the riverbank with spectacular views of the Chobe River and floodplains. The 48 en suite rooms are river facing and have private terraces. Facilities at the lodge include a large swimming pool with terrace, a riverside boma area, beauty salon, stylish bar with terrace. Activities include 4×4 game drives and boat cruises.

Selinda Camp is an intimate camp offering understated luxury on the banks of the eastern Selinda Spillway – a waterway that links Botswana’s Okavango Delta to the Linyanti and Kwando marshes, rivers and floodplains. The camp has nine spacious guest tents under thatch, each has a spacious, en-suite bathroom with full sized stone bath and antique shower. Activities in the Selinda Reserve include both day and night game drives in open 4×4 vehicles and game viewing by boat on the Zibalianja Lagoon (subject to water levels). Game viewing is of a high standard, particularly in the drier months and typically seen in the Selinda area are giraffe, baboon, black-backed jackal, elephants, wildebeest, cheetah, crocodile, lion, wild dog, hippo, honey badger, reedbuck, roan, sable and a host of birds. Guided walking trails are within the vicinity of the camp and guests can take mokoro rides and fishing trips.

    Day 5 & 6 – Okavango Delta & Moremi Game Reserve

Following the morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, you will be transferred to your next choice of accommodation:

Standard Option: lodge transfer to Kasane Airport for charter flight to Pom Pom Camp for 2 nights.

Superior Option: lodge transfer to Kasane Airport for charter flight to Xakanaxa Camp for 2 nights.

Deluxe Option: transfer to airstrip for charter flight to Baines Camp for 2 nights.

The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest inland deltas situated in the middle of the largest stretch of continuous sand in the world – the Kalahari basin. This oasis in the middle of the desert is a rich yet fragile ecosystem, providing a life source for an incredible variety of wildlife. A wealth of species have adapted to the contrasting conditions created by living in the harsh Kalahari desert which is transformed annually with the arrival of the delta flood waters.

The Okavango wetland encompasses Moremi Game Reserve and surrounding regions divided into areas known as Private Concessions. These concessions are wildlife management areas, carefully administrated to balance the growing community’s development and conservation, whilst empowering citizens through sustainable tourism. Many of the exclusive lodges in Botswana are situated within these concessions in the delta, providing an unparalleled wildlife experience – exclusive and remote, avoiding mass tourism and exploitation.

Pom Pom is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta in a private concession to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is classically designed in the style of safari camps of old, overlooking the lily-strewn Pom Pom Lagoon. Pom Pom Camp offers nine traditional en suite safari tents. The camp offers a plunge pool, a beautiful dining room, lounge area and bar looking out to the picturesque lagoon. Activities included in this delta paradise are game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro excursions all taken with local expert guides.

Xakanaxa Camp is located in the Xakanaxa region of Moremi Game Reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. This is a lush area with abundant game all year round. The camp accommodates up to 24 guests in classic en suite safari tents on raised platforms. The stylish main buildings are set on raised platforms to maximize the views over the surrounding lagoons and islands and include a lounge, library, dining room, expansive sundeck, plunge pool and sala with day bed and a fire-deck set under giant Jackal berry trees. Activities include year-round boating trips, as well as 4×4 game drives into the Moremi Game Reserve.

Baines Camp is located on the Boro River, in a 260000 acre private concession in the Okavango Delta that neighbours the Moremi Game Reserve. Set amongst the shady trees and water of the delta, this small and intimate camp has just five luxurious suites set on elevated platforms in the tree line giving extensive views over the lagoon. Guests can take the unique opportunity to have the four-poster bed rolled out on the private deck to sleep under the stars. The main area features an oversized deck for outdoor dining and views over the beautiful lagoon. There is a swimming pool with two thatched salas. Guests can explore the area by day and night in open-sided 4×4 vehicles, on walking safaris and with water safaris at the gentle pace of a poled mokoro. Safari motorboats are also available (subject to water levels).
