  • Day 01 – Seoul

    Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for rest. Seoul has been the center of politics, economy, culture and transportation of Korea since it was founded by Joseon Dynasty in 1394.
    You are invited to experience Korea culture by attending one of their shows. Different entertainment for you to choose ONE from:

    Day 02 – Seoul

    Today you will start your tour with Gyeongbokgung Palace which is the most comprehensive and grandest of the five palaces. Witness the Changing of the Royal Guard and the Patrol Ritual (Daily at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m) in front of Heungnyemun (Gate).

    Continue to the Bukchon Hanok Village, home to hundreds of traditional houses called hanok that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. It is an important area for culture and the arts, with its number of museums, craft workshops and historic landmarks. You will visit the best preserved Palace among the five royal Joseon Palaces – Changdeokgung Palace. It is best known for its beautiful garden with it’s superb landscape with pavilions, ponds and wooded areas.

    After which, you will visit Insa-dong with art galleries, traditional craft stores, antique art dealers, traditional tea houses and restaurants. You may also catch flea market if you here on weekend.

    Day 03 – Seoul

    Korea is the only divided country in the world. After the Korean War, it’s been negotiated and then designated the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), 2 km away from the truce line on each side of the border. You will see the Bridge of Freedom, DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, Dora Observatory and back to Seoul.

    Drop by Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), the newest and most iconic landmark of the Korean design industry. Located at the center of the Dongdaemun area, DDP is the world’s largest atypical architecture. Next to it is Gwangjang Market, famous for its abundance of street food. Enjoy a local feast of Korean street food!

    The rest of the afternoon is for you to stroll in Dongdaemun Market which is a large area packed with small shops and big malls.

    Day 04 – Seoul

    This morning, go for a Korean cuisine experience. Join a cooking class of Korean traditional food, such as Bibimbap, Kimchi and Glass Noodle Salad, and enjoy your good food for lunch. Embark on an excursion to Suwon Hwasung Fortress, a UNESCO site which is a well-preserved structure of the Joseon Dynasty built of stone and oven-baked bricks over two years from 1794.

    After which, you will visit Korean Folk Village which is a living museum that recreates the lifestyles of several centuries ago. There are 270 traditional houses and a small amphitheater for folk music and dance performances.

     Day 05 – Seoul / Jeju

    Transfer to airport for flight to Jeju Island.

    The beautiful Jeju Island shrouded in mystery, culture and tradition, the wonderful sites are set amongst some of the most beautiful surroundings in all of Korea whilst still keeping their traditional identity.

    Head off on a full-day tour of Jeju Island’s west coast. Your first stop is the many gardens of Hallim Park, including its bonsai trees, water garden and subtropical botanical garden. You’ll also visit the O’sulloc Tea Museum, which showcases the traditional tea culture of Korea. It is famous in the entire country. Its main feature is the shape of the entire building which resembles a giant green tea cup.

    Stop next at the world’s largest bonsai theme park at Spirited Garden, followed by a visit to Mount Sangang’s beautiful multi-tiered waterfall, Cheonjiyeon Falls. The walking trails here take you through the scented forest and across picturesque stone bridges.

    Day 06 – Jeju

    Today, visit the traditional world of the Seongeup Folk Village, where Korea’s traditional thatched houses, Confucian temple, mill, fortress and tombstones have been preserved. Here, you’ll also hear Jeju folk songs and other folk entertainment, sample local food and hear the local Jeju dialect.

    Head to the Haenyeo Museum, where you’ll learn about the life and work of the island’s female divers, before climbing the spectacular crater of Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a Jeju symbol and UNESCO Natural Heritage Site. From the top of the island’s largest volcanic rock cone, you’ll be surrounded by the ocean and almost 100 similar rock peaks.

    End your with a stop at the Manjanggul Lava Tube, one of the world’s finest lava tunnels and another UNESCO Natural Heritage Site.

    Day 07 – Jeju / Busan / Gyeongju

    You will be transferred to Jeju Airport for your flight to Busan.

    Upon arrival in Busan, you will be transferred 1 hour to Gyeongju to check into your hotel. Gyeongju was the capital of the ancient kingdom Silla between 7th – 9th centuries. You will visit the Bulguksa Temple, the Temple of the Land Buddha, is a testimony to both the skill of Silla architects and the depth of Buddhist faith at the time. Nearby is Seokguram Buddhist Grotto which display the world religious art. Both sites were registered on UNESCO’s List in 1995. The tour continues to Cheomseongdae Observatory which is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. Our last stop is Gyeongju National Museum which displayed the cultural history of the district.

    Day 08 – Gyeongju / Busan

    Drive back to Busan. Explore the top locations such as Yongdusan ParkGwangbokdong Street and UN Memorial Cemetery to discover Busan’s past and present. Visit the unique coastal temple of Yonggungsa, where stone lanterns line a rocky landscape, and explore Haeundae Beach on Dongbaek Island by foot.

    Transfer to airport in the afternoon to Gimpo Airport for your flight back home.

    You will need to transit from Gimpo Airport to Incheon Airport. 2 ways to choose from:

    1. Shuttle Train: 35 min ride, 15 min interval http://www.airport.kr/
    2. Private vehicle transfer: 1 hour ride – USD 180 per car
