  • Day 01 – Siem Reap

    Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Explore Banteay Kdei with its Hall of Dancing Girls before ending the day by viewing the sunset over the water with drinks.

    Optional: Take a helicopter scenic flight for an aerial view of the Angkor complex and its surrounds.

    Day 02 – Siem Reap

    Morning, travel by Tuk-tuk to Srah Srang and visit Ta Prohm. Take a break and enjoy breakfast at Ta Nei before exploring more of the lesser known temples. Afternoon, explore the world’s largest city in the 12th century, Angkor Thom. Have a relaxing evening appreciating traditional Apsara dance-drama dinner show, which was threatened to extinction during the Khmer Rouge regime.

    Day 03 – Siem Reap/Phnom Penh/Embarkation

    Fly to Phnom Penh and be transferred to the pier to embark onto your luxury cruise.

    Settle into your elegantly appointed, river facing suite as the vessel begins to cruise. Ascend to the Observation Deck if you wish; to sip sundowners against the backdrop of Phnom Penh’s skyline.

    Day 04 – Mekong River

    Cruise across the Vinh Xuong border and onward to Chau Doc village in Vietnam. Along the Hau River, a tributary of the Mekong, head to the shore by skiff then by road for a change, about six kilometers, to the 230 meter high Sam Mountain, the highest point in the Mekong Delta, and home to dozens of pagodas that dot the mountainside, some even set in caves.

    Have the unique privilege to sit with the venerable Mahayana Buddhist monks at Long Son Tu Temple for a private audience. Before heading back to your cruise, visit the Temple of Lady Xu, one of the major religious sites of the Mekong Delta.

    Day 05 – Mekong River / Chau Doc – Sadec

    Cruise on the Tien River to Gieng Islet island, which is with a number of French colonial architecture. At the Convent of the Providence Order and Catholic Church, interact with Sisters or Father to learn of the religious influences on the surrounding communities.

    Enjoy your lunch on board and continue your shore excursion to the town of Sa Dec. Roam around the fresh produce and exotic spices on sale at the local market and make your way to the colonial French writer Marguerite Duras’s house.

    Day 06 – Mekong River/ Cai Be/ My Tho/ Ho Chi Minh City

    Paddle through Cai Be floating market on sampan. The market starts in earliest from 5am and each boat are selling different products. Continue your exploration of this area on foot or by bicycle.

    In the afternoon, continue the cruising towards My Tho, where you disembark. Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City on a shared basis, and en route to visit the Dong Tam crocodile and snake farm.

    Check into you hotel.

    Optional: Catch the acrobatic performances of the AO Show, with imaginative visual creations!

    Day 07 – Ho Chi Minh City

    In the morning, head 2.5 hours out of town to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Explore these underground tunnels constructed during the Vietnam War by the Vietcong (private guide).

    Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
