The parade is divided into two days (Sunday and Monday) with presentation from 6 Samba Schools, each day. There is option to go to the parade for 01 or for 02 nights. Usually, the parade starts around 9pm, and goes on through the night. Each samba school has a minimum of 65 minutes and a maximum of 80 minutes to do their parade. The parade, apart from the spectacle, is a competition between the schools and various aspects are judged. On the following Wednesday, the Carnival Champion is announced. The competition is so fierce, it’s almost shares the same fervor as the Football Championships.
